Wilson Watt 3 Tiny Tots Tweeter issue

Hello new to the forum. Got burdened with a pair of Wilson Watt 2 Audio Puppies/ Watt 3 Tiny Tots
Fired them up for the first time today. One Tiny Tot works fine, the other one seems to have a dead tweeter.

Took the tweeter out, did not unsolder the internal wires, and measured across the terminals (with the internal wires still attached) 24.4 Ohm. Is this meaningful, or am I just measuring something in the dividing network?

Right you are - the good tweeter reads 6.8 Ohm the bad one is blown.

 

What's next. Anyone repair these?

Call Wilson for a new tweeter.

When you cut the wires to the tweeter, get as close to the tweeter lugs as you can

Interesting choice of words. Why are you “burdened” by a pair of Watt Puppies? Regarding the tweeter, unsolder it if you can vs cutting. It will make resoldering the new one just a little easier.

Have you tried to lift the Puppies? Must be 120 pounds each. It's above the limit of what I can physically handle.
