Jolida JD100S

If I did not buy the Raysonic tube cdp , I will buy the Jolida JD100S. I’ve heard the JD100 it’s superb.Its available at Saturday audio Exchange here in Chicago.

I bought a used BAT VK-D5SE at a very decent price. It's been well taken care of and came with a spare new Philips cd drive. Seller gave me a deal I couldn't pass up. If I don't like it I can always resell it.
The JD100S at Saturday Audio Exchange has no remote and remotes for the JD100 series are unobtanium. I made a fair offer for it but they wouldn't budge. I'm not paying their price for that unit with no remote.

Slovell the most they will discount is $100 , I wonder if Jolida or black ice can sell a remote for this unit.You did the right thing.

Talked to Mike at Jolida, Maryland and Walt at Underwood HiFi with no luck. Mike said they can't even really do a complete service the JD100 as they have no parts  left and forget about a remote.. Walt advised me to call Mike so there you go. lol  I think you can still find a new drive for it on EBay so I probably should pick one up for a spare.
I'm probably going to keep my JD100 and just use it sparingly, it's a really nice sounding player.
Can't wait to hear the BAT. I wanted to get one with the SuperPak upgrade but it was a lot more money and way out of my budget. Getting a new spare drive with it is definitely a plus.
