Is it worth using an Anticable level 5 for a PHONO PREAMP? Overkill?

Is it worth using an Anticable level 3 for a PHONO PREAMP? Overkill? Any possible negative conseque? Or just a waste of money? The phono preamp is a Parasound JC3+ (12w)

As if on cue, the usual suspects feel it's absolutely necessary to make an appearance to alert all viewers of this thread how foolish it is to believe that cables make an improvement in an audio system. One thing's for sure, their reliability is only challenged by their closed minds.

Funny how it's only a "closed mind" if someone has a different opinion, formed through experience. It's almost like the poster has a.....closed mind....

All this talk about "closed minds" but in this case OP asked a specific question that was NOT "convince me expensive power cables are stupid". Agree with @ozzy62 the usual cable bashing is tiring.

Not to be "bashing" cables, but lets's address the OP's question.  Is it worth spending money on a high end 8 AWG power cable to feed his Parasound JC3+ phonoo pre amp (the same unit I have in my system).  The specs show the power draw by the JC3+ are +/- 0.1 amps.  Feeding with a cable rated to carry 30 amps, or 300 times the power required, could only be a giant waste of money.  Open mind, closed mind, doesn't change the math.  Amazed how often this same question gets kicked around on this forum.

I don't mind if your experience tells you that all you need is lamp cord. Knock yourself out. But don't profess to tell me that that's all I need.
