Subwoofer for Raidho XT-1 sadly buried in a console built in?

I have a KEF KC62 sub and it maybe excellent. I do not have too much experience with subs to compare. In a few hours I will getting delivery of the $200 KEF wireless transmitter for the sub. It is supposed to be excellent and it will allow me to only have the single PC going into the sub.

The KC62 is small and comes in white and can be placed in a bookshelf (or other locations). I used it on a bookshelf prior to my current room. I plan on trying the sub next on a 28 inch tall stool from HomeDepot. The new KEF KC60 speakers (Baby Blades) gave me the idea of trying this with my KEF LS50 bookshelf speakers. The sub is so small that you have so many placement options. 

BTW - your thread on finding bookshelf speakers made me think about my goal of upgrading my 10-year-old KEF LS50s. I am thinking of the following

- Yamaha NS3000 (from Canada only)

- Paradigm PersonaB

- Raidho XT-1 (never heard this one)

- TAD ME-1

I was all set on buying the Yamaha NS3000 however last night a great or maybe bad idea came to me and I now want to try this speaker first. They have a 30-day home trial.

This also can work in a bookshelf, though I will use them on stands with my KEF KC62 sub. The reason to try these is that all speakers I have heard (except the KEF Blades) are not as fun as the RAAL SR1a headphone. The speaker listed above also uses a RAAL ribbon and could be a gem.

Look into the Rel Airship wireless steup. Whichever subs you end up choosing, the Airship will make them wireless while also capturing the characteristics of your amplifier. Placement then becomes a breeze. I see in the other thread you’ve selected speakers. Were you able to demo them and are you reasonably certain they will function as desired? Your selected monitors are very "fast" sounding while your amplification presently is anything but. What will the tonal outcome be and what do you need from the sub system.

I would hesitate to procure any subs until you’ve determined what you need. For instance, do you need reinforcement below XXhz or do you require some reinforcement of lower mids. Do you have nodes to contend with (yes, you will, multiple), what acoustic treatments will be necessary and can you address it from a decor and physical standpoint?

Is your amplification appropriate? Its your cart but the cart may be in front of the horse at this stage.

I had a wisdom scs suitcase sub with a pair of Rockport Technologies Mira Monitors some years back. It was a solid setup. The wisdom sub has the possibility of being installed in a wall, but it will need to be a rather thick wall. I had mine against the wall in white. It was not painful to the eyes.
