can I connect 2 sources directly to power amp (one XLR one RCA)

I'm currently running a Lumin D2 direct to the XLR connection on my Anthem MCA 225 GEN 2

would I run into any issues if I simultaneously hook up my bluesound node to the rca inputs?

I'd like to A/B the sources and also use the HDMI on the bluesound for tv

If not, then the two inputs are just parallel connectors to a single input and hooking them both up generally won't work. I had the same problem with my amp (decware) so I installed a simple selector switch. Jerry
