I don't have any information about the frequency response in the various drivers (HF and LF sections of the two different speaker types), but if you have crossovers, you can lay them on the floor without enclosures and see how they respond.
You may be able to tell if they would be close enough matching in frequency response to use them. it might give you a rough idea close they would match, or not.
