I can say without a shadow of a doubt that the headshell provides at most 0.002% of the total audio output quality. So if you don't optimize that headshell your audio quality ceiling will be limited to 99.998%, and you'll be leaving that 0.002% on the table! Think about that!
Cartridge question
Going to replace the cartridge on my Dual cs1264 with a Vessel a3se.
My question is : Is it worth the extra money to replace the entire head shell even though my original wires look fine?

@thecarpathian It’s not the weight of the cart, it’s the compliance. But, yes, it will probably be fine. Don't dis those old Dual tables. They're better than you might think. |
