mahler123 - There’s a reason they wear helmets with face masks, some with plastic eye shields, it’s a very violent sport, and the head and face are very susceptible to serious injury.  Many on the sidelines; players, coaches, officials, police officers, security people, etc., don’t have helmets on, making your ignorant argument a moot point.  I spent 25 years as a policeman, with 15 of them also working part-time at Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Cavaliers games.  There was absolutely zero tolerance for anyone throwing anything on or near the field or court, an arrest, night in jail, and date with a judge was the result.  It stated so on the tickets to the games, and an announcement stating so was made over the PA just prior to the start of the games.  Fortunately, there were very few who were ever that ignorantly stupid and thoughtless.

Poor behavior in a sea of poor behavior. 

Only a complete moron would be throwing objects .they should have been tossed out IHave seen especially Philli fans even throwing brandy  bottles ,cups of beer these drunks are lucky the players didnot come into the stands and use them as practice dummies .some people have no respect ot brains !!

I was listening a couple of weeks ago and the sound quality suddenly improved in the left channel.  I am absolutely sure I could hear it clearly as I have been training my ears for nearly 60 years to listen critically.  I got up and looked at the arm and cartridge and then noticed a fly had landed on the left-hand monobloc, probably wanting to keep warm or dry out.

I have caught some more flies since then and I'm going to be packaging them at $199.99 each.  Those with monoblocs will require two.

When in high school a girl lost an eye to a snow/ice ball. So, not so hilarious. As far as these "Gladiators in armor" goes, Orlando Brown, OL for the Browns, was hit in the eye with a ref's flag and it literally ruined his career. The flag has a weight in it so the ref can throw it a decent distance so it can be more easily recognized, I guess. Now I have never handled a ref's flag so I have no idea how heavy or hard  it is but I can say a snowball or one that has been held in the hand for a while can become quite hard. Girl loses eye, star football player loses career, yeah real hilarious.
