Reducing cd tray noise

Does anyone know of any tweaks or tricks to reduce tray noise? I guess my cd player isn't all that great and it makes noise in the tray area.

Totally stopped the open and close CD rattle. I have quite a bit left over. E-mail me directly if you are interested in a piece.

Not quite sure what you mean by open and close rattle. It rattles when it is open? My noise is when a disc is spinning you can hear the disc scratching against the tray. I had a Pioneer elite pd 65 that when it was playing you couldn't hear a peep, even if you put your ear up to it with a stethascope. How did you stick it on, with some kind of glue?
