Solid core OFC vs stranded OCC copper

There is no audible difference between the two types of wiring. The only time there is a difference is when one is more expensive than the other because the electrons know what the cost of the wire is.

I used Cardas for my speakers and amp , but it is harder to work with than other choices .  24awg from RCA inputs to 9.5awg to speaker binding post outputs .

I really wouldn't obsess about this.

Stranded cables are actually made up of tiny solid core wires. Morrow audio stuff (which works fine) illustrate that point sort of, although they claim to be "small coated wires" bundled together...their top of the line "anniversary" speakers cables have 2,304 small wires...now that's some solid core!
