@uvon60 If you have the old idler, you can send it to Russell Industries and they can rebuild it for a reasonable fee. I've had them do this with Ampex and Otari pinch rollers for studio decks and they did an excellent job. |
Contact ebay seller “ laherbau “. He makes ‘em for the Russco tables as well as others, out of Delrin, with a square section O-ring and properly sized Oilite bushing. I have one of his in my Studio Pro and bought another for a spare. They’re extremely well made, fit and work perfectly. They’re also quieter than the original Russco puck. The seller/maker’s name is Abe. BTW - some of the quietest Russco tables around are using his idler wheels. |
