Patio tunes

Hi I'm in quest for building descent patio system and my budget is $500 total

I need wireless bt amp/streamer and speakers. The amp should be portable enough to move it to the outside when nice weather cook-outs going on. I'm not planning to keep amp outdoors, but would collect suggestions here as well as experiences.

For a patio system, powered Bluetooth speakers make perfect sense. Any of the choices in the line of Edifier speakers are excellent. The R1700BT model is hard to beat for that application.

Get a bluetooth speaker. Marshal has one that sounds good.

Looks like I'm intrigued by ML amp recommended above. That plus a pair of used outdoor speakers would do the trick

The amp is ridiculous, I have it hooked up to a pair of Paradigm Reference Studio 20 speakers and the soundstage reminds me of that Martin Logan signature soundstage, very open. You can use it for streaming right from the app and you can also use it as an integrated amp with the RCA analog inputs. If you decide to use the sub out ARC will integrate the sub with speakers when you run the calibration. Another nice thing about ARC is Anthem routinely pushes out updates which are free unlike DIRAC which charges for them.

At my last house, I installed a couple of Peavey speakers outside and ran the wires into the living room where my rack was. With banana plugs, it only took a couple seconds to plug them in.
