Based on the value of the gear in your portfolio I can certainly understand your lowball reasoning. Most companies dont allow the transfer of warranty at all so applying your logic to the equation 95% of the Used Audio gear in the world isnt worth buying unless its 75% off MSRP.  Enjoy playing in the kiddie pool.
