Bottom line, if you want a warmer, richer sound within your headspace the R9 might be good, but if you’re looking for a more balanced, tonally accurate sound that gives you a larger soundstage that goes outside your head the Sundara is a better choice. I think the Sundara is a better headphone, but it’s all personal preference and that’s totally up to you. The Meze is also very much worth a look. Hope this helps a little.
