Buckeye amps

Does anyone have any knowledge, preferably first hand, of the Buckeye 2 channel Purifi amp or the quality of Buckeye amps generally?

Op, when a proprietor is at a show is no time to call on the telephone, either email and wait or go in person. Since you're ill that leaves you with email. Good luck, I'm sure it'll work out.

@holmz Regrettably I have a heavy cold and in deference to other attendees I won't be attending Alan March's presentation today. I have tried repeatedly to phone,. message, email Alan since Friday morning but he has not responded. Very disappointing from  a potential buyer viewpoint.

In his defence, maybe he was flying.
(But I cannot maintain synch with him either.)

Hope you feel better soon.

Old mate is about an hour away from the demo, but he is also not able to go.

I replaced a pair of (fully upgraded by Wilson Shen) Clayton M300 mono block amps w/ Buckeye 7040 mono block amplifiers about three days ago. Dylan at Buckeye indicated that burn in improvement, if there is any would be minimal. So far I like what I’m hearing, but on some recordings there seems to be a tonal richness and feeling that you’re inside the music with the Clayton amps that I’m now missing I’ll probably use the M300 amps during the cool months of the year, and go w/ the Buckeyes when it’s hot outside. They’ve only been in for only a couple of days… so the verdict is still out. For sure they are ridiculously good at this price point.
