Vandersteen 5a Carbons

I wanted to ask if the 5a Carbons are a steep up from the Martian Logan Summit X speakers.

Haven't heard the Vandy line lately but living with a pair for many years and hearing numerous models at shows and particularly dealers over the years I feel pretty certain things haven't changed YMMV.
