I’d forgo the Micro 3000 for the SB1000 Pro. The latter is only marginally bigger than the former, gets down to a legit 20Hz (-3dB) with a 12” driver, and is $300 cheaper than the Micro. Unless for some reason you can’t deal with basically the 1” increase in size of the SB1000 Pro this is a no brainer in my book. Best of luck.
Quick subwoofer like SVS micro 3000
I have a minimal set up at the moment with Blueroom Minipods (funny looking wife-friendly speakers) connected to Bluesound Powernode.
By many accounts, the speaker has actually decent sound but lacking in bass - and I was advised to find a "quick" subwoofer with smaller driver size.'
So, the strongest candidate right now is SVS micro 3000, which I also appreciate the look of. Some reports say, though, that RSL Speedwoofer 10s MKII is quicker and better value. I guess my question is how can the RSL be "quicker" with ported design.
Any other recommendations for me under 1000 dollar range?
Thank you
