Well you like the sound of the Micromega and you own it so why not just keep it? If I were going to buy a Copland amp I'd step up to one of their hybrid models for better sound.
Micromega M-100 with MARS or Copland CSA 70
Anyone familiar with the 2 intergrated amps above? I've had the Micromega 100 and like the sound but had to send it back for repairs. I'm either going to get the Micromega back or move on to the Copland CSA 70. Anyone familiar and has input on either product? Any Thoughts?

I have owned my Micromega M100 for a little over 3 months. I bought it new at a very discounted price as the unit no longer supports it's streaming capabilites, plus the North American distributors dropped the line. Despite this , I still purchased and I'm glad I did. This integrated amp sounds amazing and that is what it is about. Even my power cord cost more than this amp. Interestingly, the better the cabling, the better the sourse components , the better the speakers, the micromega was up for the challenge and wasn't the weakest link. |
