Logical next step from Legacy Signature SEs? Around $15K...

Honestly, I think Legacy in general has the best bang for your buck for speakers. And these are incredible in my room...but like always, well, what's next? And I would also like the footprint to be a bit smaller.

Mostly I am afraid of losing the end to end coherence, as these speakers go from very deep to very high without really standing out. But I am also partial to silk dome tweeters, a bit warmer sound and good aesthetics.

What would be some of the options, where I guess, I will lose out on the bottom end, but gain midrange and high end?

@mihorn Youre kidding, right? Exactly what are we to take from some crappy YouTube recording? It has no credibility or purpose. This is not Reddit. Good song though — I’ll give you that.

No. I am not kidding. Which part of my post is kidding to you?

Crappy YT recording? It is your cellphone speaker sounding crappy. YT sounds good enough to understand musicality. Please show me any live recording of Legacy Signature SE sound better than my recording. Do you think my WTA speaker sound better in YT, but vice-versa in real life? That’ll be a joke. Our ears can trick us, but microphones can’t lie. Alex/WTA

YT sounds good enough to understand musicality.

YT is lossy audio and whenever I’ve used it as a source in my main system it sounds like it. I think it’s useless as a comparative tool because there are just so many variables involved. I understand that Youtube is a tool for "influencers," but they’ll have to accept that not everyone is so easily "influenced."

... Exactly what are we to take from some crappy YouTube recording? ...

Nothing.

That is the character of your system. In my system, I am satisfied with YT SQ. Below is sound comparison of Flac vs. YT in my system.

These live recordings are from YT videos.
