Adding a sub

I’m looking to add a sub to my setup

A 4 wpc Decware Mini Torii and Ref 3A de Capos, room is 12x20 and open to part of the sides. not looking for HT sub rattling sound.

I want to add a fuller sound to my existing speakers.

Im thinking of a side firing, sealed sub under 300 watts

I looked at the SVS SB-1000 Pro but transformer whine seems to be an issue

any thoughts? TIA

Only thing I’d say would be to get two SB1000 Pros or at least plan to add another one down the road because two are a substantial improvement over one sub for multiple reasons. Best of luck.

While I’ve never owned one, like @soix I’ve never heard of the transformer whine in them. Rhythmik subs get a lot of recommendations as well and are in the same performance and price range as the SVS.
