Im not saying Borresen isnt a good speaker and im not tryin to rain on your parade.I just saw a video where the importer was saying if you have the X series dont even listen to the new C line..its that much better,Insinuating you will want to move up the line or in this case spend a tad more and get way better speakers.. In 12 months my friend this is what they are saying about the X series..thats all im saying. You watch an onslaught of X2 and X3 speakers coming to market soon and half retail or less as the last real listing for X3 speakers was 6500 i think and they were on for months...

You’d rather buy the rinse/rehash/repeat trash going on strong for 30 years ("high end") from the laziest designers on earth? Or are you a dealer for some competitor’s brand?
I know who that boob is, who said such a thing (hope he isn’t your guiding light). I have the Borresen X6 and i have heard the Cseries bookshelf speaker. I have also heard the M series. Nope, no sign of upgraditis here. Further, many a times, the higher series are paired with much better electronics and tweaks. Many a times, it is the electronics that carried it and made you think it was a never ending miracle of the speaker, as you went up the series. Put the 2 series on the same electronics+tweaks in the same room side by side and we’ll talk further, ok? |

I know several who own them and I helped upgrade their only weakness like most speakers under $30 k they use the lower grad3 Ajantzen capacitors , for another $600 they should have used the Jantzen Alumina Z foil capacitor much better after changing just 2 capacitor a big difference lone guy used the VH Audio Odam capacitors and path audio resistors it make a very good speaker at least 15% better still. Just go to humble home made hifi capacitor test ,. |
