Gave it a quick listen on Qobuz where it’s available at 24/96, and even on my fairly budget, daily-driver earbuds it sounds well recorded. As for the music, I find it interesting and really well done and kinda reminds me in style and sound of some of the Tori Amos stuff I remember from back in the 90s — a good thing. It is pretty haunting sounding from start to finish (the album title and several individual song titles are a definite tip-off here), and after a brief initial listen I would’ve welcomed a little more variability in tone and vibe as it got a little heavy after a while. That said it’s definitely interesting music and well worth a listen IMO — just don’t expect an audio happy pill here.
