I'm at the point where I don't want to run wires anymore and maybe looking just to simplify things with a new TV and a decent soundbar and wireless sub.

I haven't really kept up with anything new in th epast 5-7 years and looking for recommendations and just a a cleaner set up by (decluttering) a lot of the big componets.

Would appreciate some insite and recommendations.

A lot of people have been happy with Sonos both for their soundbars and their wireless capabilities.  Best of luck.

If you are looking to purchase a new TV, I would highly recommend you take a look at the  LG OLED55C2PUA. Fabulous picture quality.

Regarding your "decluttering" your components. I would perhaps ask that question at a home theatre specific forum of some sort.

I also think that there are more "clutters" than "declutters" on this site.

Try the Sony Bravia Theater Quad with Sony’s 360 reality audio. They also sell a matching sub with it...no clutter.

Andrew Robinson YT Review

I’m using the predecessor to the Sony Quad, the HT A9 and SW5 sub via eARC with my 85" Sony TV. It’s sound can be immersive so excellent for HT as expected, but not expected it’s quite good for music streamed from Roon. I use an Oppo 205 as the source for Blu-rays. Makes a clutter-free package that sounds great, and the TV remote controls everything except the Oppo. The little Sony processor even displays Roon when that’s the source.  The HT A9 replaced 2 racks of gear, 6 speakers, and 2 subs.  I highly recommend it.
