GAIAs for amp?

Since my 185lbs hybrid integrated is too heavy for even five OREA Bordeaux or IsoPuck 76s, IsoAcoustics suggested using GAIAs for the amp.  Finding no info on GAIAs other than for speakers (I use them for my Tannoys).  Any thoughts?

I am using the Titan Gaia’s under my 150lb. mono block amps.

Under the amps I have a 4" thick block of maple that I have inserted the threaded inserts to accept the Titan footers. I think it is a nice sound quality improvement over the Audiopoint’s that I used previously, which can be seen in my systems page.

Thanks for the input.  I’m on a 1.5” thick bamboo board with Herbie’s Dots between it and an oak floor.  Sounds like GAIAs are a good solution for me.

Response from IsoAcoustics:

Yes, the GAIA and the OREA series use the same technology. The GAIA series works well with electronics. Manufacturers like AudioMirror, Java Hifi, Merril Audio etc are using GAIA isolators included with their electronic audio components.

you should also look at the Townshend podium, they are far superior to the Gaias, not cheap but well worth it.

I would like to point you to Stack Audio AUVAs. They are GREAT. They are ment for heavy speakers but I am sure they work for Amps also (they actually ditched my GAIA III´s). 😀
