Have you had streaming music clip out with chord Dave?

Yes, that is normal. sound unaffected, right?

I couldn't rememer why so I looked it up.  

the memory blanking is normal - its because when writing the config settings to the flash memory you can't read at the same time, so I have to blank the display.

Blank the display on the Dave? Or the steamer?

Does the music cut out or is it just the display on the DAVE that goes blank without interrupting streaming? Not clear from your post.
If you get the music interrupted then try rebooting the streamer. Power off, unplug, wait a bit, connect power and boot it up. If it doesn’t help, keep streamer on and reboot the dac then the mscaler.

My bad, I wasn’t very clear. It’s the music that loses time, beats, a word and a half.

it just recently started after swapping my DAC. The streamer has changed but it was doing it with the previous streamer as well. I’ve rebooted everything multiple times to include the router, which is hard wired to the streamer. It only happens with streaming no other source. Very frustrating when deep into listening to a passage and then it’s as if someone presses the mute button on and off.  Help
