Can anyone identify this equipment?

Interesting amp. Looks very much like a shortwave receiver. 

I’m guessing that he doesn’t have much preserved hearing so he probably isn’t too finicky about his gear.  It’s to bad that despite making all that money he doesn’t seem to be able to afford a listening room chair
