Who has heard the Wyred4sound 10th Anniversary DAC?

Made in California not to far from me. I have been to the shop a few times.

So, I bought one. I had it for 5 years now.

It resides with:

ARC Ref3 pre, ARC Classic 75 amp, Aurender N10, Tekton Moab on Townsend bases, REL Classic 98 sub.  And other things it does not touch.

My question is who heard the unit before? How does it compare to others in the original MSRP of $5000

Comments from the great internet??

I ain't never heard it.  But I have the W4S moded Sonos ZP90 that is still chugging after many years and sounds good. Really surprised that little unit dont get more love around here.  Based on that I have no doubt the W4S guys know what they are doing.

I have it. I think it is a very nice DAC. My system is Kinki Studio ex-m1+ integrated amp. Dynaudio Contour 20i's and Dynaudio Sub 500. Audiolab 6000 CD transport with Silent Angel Munich M1T transport, F1 Silent Angel Power Supply and Silent Angel N8 ethernet switch for my streaming. The ethernet switch arrived yesterday and IT DOES make big difference.

EJ Sarmento makes nice stuff at W4S and I love this DAC, very nice unit, it was my PreAmp before I sold my McCormack DNA .5 Rev A.

Ive been curious about the 2v2SE dac. Nice its a USA company and looks well built but only found 1 review 2017.

Found a few used for sale , not 10th anniversary, but the 2v2SE at way below retail price. Not sure if it is due to their lack of popularity, but value seems to drop fast.

There probably wont be any responses here as op  only has a few. If anyone knows about or has experience with this dac please share.

Always wanted to hear this dac but never had a chance. Their base model DAC-2 was great for the price when it came out way back when. I love how you can still upgrade the older players too.
