PSVANE Discussion & Impressions Thread

It's been about a month now, that I started listening to the Psvanes. I don't want to make it sound like they are x or y or z. But the fact is that they have not diminished my listening experience. And I am happy that I can choose to listen to my beloved Mazdas at some later point in time. And I got the Psvanes for $55. These are much neutral than the ART series. The bass is well defined on these tubes. I am going to guess that some folks will take this as "less bass". But I really don't think so.

One negative experience about the previous ART series for me was they lasted just 9-10 months before getting noisy. So keeping fingers crossed, since these cost even less. Hope they last at least 10 months, which will be about $5.50 per month for auditioning these tubes :-(

That person is/was a shill, as simple as that. You might disagree, but that won’t change the obvious fact. The shills usually have to pay the owners of the platform they’re using, otherwise they’ll be banned or suspended. I’m pretty sure they’ll be back.

Shill seems like far too strong a word. A shill to me is somebody who promotes a product and offers nothing but inflated opinions. In this situation, most of the praise seem to come from users, and the person representing the company took the role of problem solver. I would like to see more of that here. The other thing about a shill is that they usually hide the fact that they are associated with the company, this one was open about it.. I think what we have here is a conflict with the basic reason that this forum exists. We’d like to believe that it is about sharing information and learning, but it is really primarily about selling. Any entity that gets involved in the sales process and doesn’t share a portion of its revenues with the owners of this forum tends to run afoul Of them.

@bruce19 It doesn’t really matter whether it was a shill or an unauthorized promoter; they’ll be back after resolving the monetary issue. They’ll never let go of this moneymaking resource.That’s how that particular country usually operates.

In any case we’ll never know what really happened, and personally, I don’t give a s$it about them or their products. I used them twice and will never use them again in the future.
