VPI Prime Upgrade

Hi thinking about table upgrade from VPI Prime

Saw a tonearm upgrade by VAS?

Also has anyone traded their Prime for a differenttable?

Thanks

I have a Prime.

For me, I think it's a solid table and if I were to upgrade I would just go with a Fatboy arm.  Maybe a speed control.

Or you can just go Prime 21 or Classic.

People change from their current turntable to a different manufacture all the time.  Sometimes you just want to try something different.

I had a Prime and went the whole upgrade route, triple belts (very worthwhile), Road Runner for speed control (very worthwhile but out of production), second arm, there were other things. I had a lot of fun with it.  That TT got traded for an HW-40 Anniversary, which is a lot more money.  My other TT is a Technics SL1200 GAE, which is similar in price to the Prime.  I use it mostly for mono records and it is much easier to use than the Prime.  All of these TTs are fun and have plenty going for them.  Since you have a Prime, I encourage you to keep it, up grade it and have fun with it.  It will never wear out.  In another system in our summer home I have a VPI TT that I bought in 1986 that still looks and sounds like new,
