Synergistic Research FEQ Carbon

I heard the FEQ at an audio show.  It seems to condition the air so the music was more coherent - the individual musical parts come together.  The sonic uptick leads to deeper involvement, worth the price.

There seems to be similar products from other vendors such as the Schnerzinger Piccolo.  When timing and budget allow. I’ll revisit this potential rabbit hole.

spenav BACCH just makes some weird stuff in my system. If the musicians are placed from L to R there is not the samme L/R placement in front of me with BACCH with some songs, with others it´s a little better but still to my ears its a no-go aka I just don´t like what it does. The FEQ preserves the stereo image 100%, and pushes it further into the room. It now stand full detached from the speakers. It´s impossible not to be impressed, the whole room now is filled with the same L to R music as before, just more open and like you can walk into the scene of the recording. I NEVER have heard anything like this. My walls disappear and everything is energized with music. Very impressive. Regardless of which genre of music, it just makes EVERY track better.

kennyc Exactly what it does. I will say that these thing will make a mediocre system sound brilliant already, and a Hi End system worth a million bucks more then before. From that point I don´t think the price is to high - on the contrary .
