Help for me, money for you.

No, this is not a scam. I've been a member since 2015 and have learned much from some very smart people on this forum. There's also been some entertainment for me listening to some who are passionate and opinionated about audio.

I have a few simple problems regarding my Innuos/ROON set up and will gladly pay someone $80 via Zelle or PayPal if you can help solve the issues. Of course, I've tried online support from Innuos/ROON but it hasn't solved the problems.

My system has remained constant for years. This is the signal path. Internet cable>ORBI router>Innuos Zen MK3(via Audioquest ethernet cable)>Bryston 17b Cubed. Currenty running ROON 3.1.1 and the ROON Core resides on Innuos Zen MK3. At one time, the system worked flawlessly but problems arose.

Here are the three problems I need solved:

Why doesn't ROON recognize my Bryston Preamp any more? ROON recognizes my secondary system(Naim Uniti Star, KEF LS 50 Meta) but not Bryston.

Can you help me find my original playlists? The system was being backed up regularly then I encountered issues.

ROON used to recognize and display the 4k albums that are located on Seagate 4TB hard drive and now only recognizes about 150 albums.

Thanks to all of you who have contributed so much to this site and shared your wisdom.

Save the $80 and take your Mrs. to lunch with it. I'm certain the learned good folks here will be happy to help sans monetary payment. Nice gesture, though.

So I recommend not using the onboard core.  I have an Innuos Zenith MK3 (not in use right now) and the core is not implemented well.  I used an external ROCK core (which I'll be listing for sale soon) which sounded much better.  Innuos works better with the Sense ap, but I like roon, so I've moved to a Grimm.

I wouldn't expect roon to see my preamp, normally it sees the streamer that feeds the DAC.  Set up your Innuos as the endpoint and then it will feed your DAC.  Remember, whatever you want to be your "zone" has to be set up as an endpoint so reinstall the endpoint.

You said "At one time, the system worked flawlessly but problems arose."  Roon does automatic backups.  If you have a backup dated when it worked flawlessly, try a restore of the backup.

Have you tried the excellent Roon forum(s)? It’s called Roon labs community Help Often a Roon employee will help you.
