Anyone read this NYT story about analog audio bars?

What we desperately need is vintage audio repair shops. Combine it with a listening room, cafe, travel agency, barber shop, I don’t care…

(I am not audiophile material so hanging with audiophiles isn’t my thing 🫣)

They'd have to be divided into sections for introverts and extroverts. I enjoy listening with others... in silence!  

There is a great vinyl bar in Petoskey, Michigan called Malted Vinyl. All McIntosh electronics, Technics turntables and JBL L100 speakers. Patrons choose the records from the owner's private collection and the bartender puts the records on and plays one side all the way through. They have a pretty good record collection. I player side one of Van Morrison w/Joey DeFrancesco - "You're Driving Me Crazy" on a quiet Sunday afternoon and it was fantastic. 

New Jersey Yes! Someone come start one in Newton! Lots of available store fronts. Good parking.
