Forward Sounding Speaker Crossover Components - Suggestions?

I've been hooked on the immersed/surround sound from a set of stereo speakers since my first Carver Sonic Holography preamp back in the day, so I've been on a quest to replicate, but with a highly-refined set of components. Some people want to replicate "soundstage" as a concert, with the sound between their seated position and the speakers. I prefer to be sitting in the middle of the "stage", surrounded by the music.

To this end, I believe I've made most of the significant changes on all hardware, with exception of finding the right speaker crossover components. Please share your experience with the most forward sounding crossover components, including capacitors and inductors, so you can save me from this endless loop of buying, burning in, realizing it doesn't quite hit the mark, then repeat. Thanks in advance!

Get a Yamaha prepro, it will do anything and everything you could imagine, in the digital dsp domain, of course. A Yamaha CX-A5200 is worth its weight in gold, if you can get your hands on one.

Other options are Sony's 360 reality,  stuff from Marantz, etc.

@deep_333  I'm not interested in chip magic, been there, done that with Carver, many moons ago. I'm interested in what I can achieve with specific crossover capacitors & inductors in the speaker crossover circuit.

I find the ClarityCaps to be "laid back" so those would not be your first choice.

BTW, if one were to actually put themself in the middle of the stage, half of the instruments would be pointing away from you.

@toddalin good to know about the Clarity Caps, thanks for staying on track. Curious to know which ones you've had experience with. They have several offerings.

Humble Homemade Hifi suggests their CSA line not only blends well with the Jantzen Alumen Z-Caps, but assists in a forward projection, which is a combo I'm considering.

Regarding half the instruments pointing away: tomato tomahto, potato potahto!
