Klimo type phono stage from China

Anyone here tried one of these? It looks quite nice and fills the roll of dual inputs. 1 MM and 1 MC. The power supply board looks to require 3 tubes. The output boards have 3 tubes per channel. Looking for impressions if any here care to share….

One MM and one MC does not fill the role of dual inputs in my book. That falls quite short compared to phono-stages that have two inputs, where each is configurable for either MM or MC independently.

I have two LOMC and a phono-stage with two inputs that support them. I very much doubt I'll ever have one MC and one MM. I use one input for a stereo cartridge, and the other for a mono version of it.

having at least one dedicated MM input is optimal with a SUT, you can go down to a 0.15mV or thereabouts with no noise penalty. With the Klimo, the MC input is best used with carts higher than say a 0.45mV lower than that and noise is an issue.

Thank you for the insight. For now the Klimo idea is shelved as the trigger was pulled on the new tube phono unit from Schiit. Hopefully the STJARNA has a good tone. Will see soon enough.
