I'm local to the area and am interested in this thread as well. I know that Almas Music and Audio (which is a great store BTW) will sometime's have manufacturer exhibits, and Stereo Unlimited (also a very nice shop) used to be home to the San Diego Audiophile Society. That said, I suspect the Society's meetings haven't happened in a very long time and am unaware of any other groups that meet regularly.
Anyone have a good ideal about getting a group going? Faye,tu,OH my gosh,tu,feye,Oh again,feye, nein, oh, ate. None of my closer friends appreciate well reproduced music.
