Are there any recording artists you just can’t listen too?

No name calling here.  I go through Qobuz new music each Friday, usually 12 to 18 new albums, trying anything that looks interesting.  Maybe 14 out of fifteen don't deserve to be played twice. Ditto for the playlists.  Once in a while though, I strike gold.

here’s another Springsteen vote - first thing that popped into my head - believe he’s been mentioned the most.

Also vote on RAP - except the Sugar Hill Gang’s Rapper’s Delight, too many memories with that one to hate.

Why?  Can't we all just enjoy music without calling out each others' tastes?

As the OP for this post it was never an intention to ridicule anyones musical taste.

l think most music lovers have many tastes and their collections or preferences encumpass numerous styles. No offence should be garnered by listing a disliked or a liked performer. The attitude on here should be just light hearted and no more than say a taste in food….much like a take-away meal menu. I would not criticise someone who chose a meal that l hated.

Keep it sensible and if you care to, support your comments with reasons why. I for one find it interesting to here what others think about music artists. It is even more enjoyable to here reasons for these choices and quite entertaining.

As regards my own dislike of Edith Piaf, it does not only extend to the musical style but also the look…l can’t bare to watch her either.
