Are there any recording artists you just can’t listen too?

For me there is one that has always been top of the list.

Edith Piaf…..l just can’t think of anything worse.

Do not get me wrong and consider my choice is in any way racist….l love to listen to music with songs in any language… Italian, French, Spanish…..

Russian and German can however be extremely demanding, but Edith Piaf (if possible in any language) is a potential harrowing experience.

 

Do any others on here have a similar artist, or artists that can trigger the same physical reaction?

@dayglow I'd more than suggest at least some of the dislikes based on political views.  While I find Kid Rock insufferable have to admit I liked a few of his songs prior to knowing his political affiliation or world views. I wasn't much of a Bruce Springsteen fan  back in the day, have come to appreciate him more over time. How about Lee Greenwood, someone's fav, my least fav.

I guess Alice Cooper is still performing, but it is not music that is being performed by him.  He's also on the list.

I love Tom Waits and Captain Beefheart. Also Reed and The Stooges.

For me it is more about the band. Standout muscians, who often dominate the music, bore me.

Could care less about politics. Doesnt even enter my mind.

 

I really hate The Eagles man.

Harry Chapin, Carole King, Aaron Neville and Kermit the Frog.                            Also, any of this modern day so called female jazz singers who couldn't carry Ella's, Peggy's or even Doris Day's jock strap. Can't listen to Bruce anymore either or Styx. I could when I was younger but now Styx give me a headache.
