Are there any recording artists you just can’t listen too?

For me there is one that has always been top of the list.

Edith Piaf…..l just can’t think of anything worse.

Do not get me wrong and consider my choice is in any way racist….l love to listen to music with songs in any language… Italian, French, Spanish…..

Russian and German can however be extremely demanding, but Edith Piaf (if possible in any language) is a potential harrowing experience.

Do any others on here have a similar artist, or artists that can trigger the same physical reaction?

mylogic

Tony Bennett. Just no.

Anthony Newley. Double Just No.

Has Bette Midler ever sung a note on pitch in her life?

My point being, I guess, about the ability to disassociate the art from the artist.

@devinplombier , I have appreciated Sprinsteen’s truly massive amount of musical talent and song writing ability LONG before I knew of his political ideology and BDS became a thing with the Faux "News" sycophants.

@roxy1927

‘Why would your choice of Edith Piaf be racist?  I’m not getting that’

It’s not. One other reply said how could l think that because, ‘the woman is whiter than Casper the Ghost’  l said racism is not just colour but nationality.
l did not want there to be a misinterpretation in my original post…just that.

Just like texting can throw up so many misunderstandings….

Your ‘roxy1927’ for example could imply you are 97 or 98

Just saying.

I think we should put both of them in a room and make them listen to "The Long and Winding Road" on an endless loop for all Eternity.

Either that or force Scabby Road on me, @spin4cards ; pure torture.

Anything that is "Auto Tuned", give me the beauty and the failings of the human voice.....both are equally important to creating emotion for me.
