Anyone hear the new PS Audio PMG Signature 512 DAC at AXPONA or otherwise?

 PS stated they would be releasing one model a month from I think May - August, their website gives specific details...

looks like June - September

I popped into the room when they had the stack hooked to the FR20's.  It really sounded nice.  But my BIG take-away was my buddy's reaction.  He walked out, and said: "Now THAT I could be happy with on the daily."  The big part of that statement comes from his reaction to the FR20's from last year, where he said he was un-impressed by them.  Makes me wonder if it's just in our heads, or the new PMG stack is really a big lift, compared to the old BHK/Stellar Pre/DAC combo.

"On the daily". Is your buddy Livvy Dunne? The oily other person I've heard use that ridiculous  term.

I was at the show. In fact, me and my buddies were in on the very first listening session. It’s hard to give it a real fair evaluation when you’re sitting in the back row all the way to the left. Many rooms she could hang out and get a seat in the sweet spot. Not in the PS audio room. So really hard to say. One thing of concern, however, is that I raised my hand and asked Paul what transport he was using in the SACD player. He Marantz. He also said that Morant has now discontinued SACD transports and that’s the end of the line and no one else will be making SACD transports. He said they bought 300 additional transports and that’s it. They’re finished forever. We asked Morant‘s when we were in the Morant‘s room what they thought and that salesman said the opposite. Who knows?
