Best products and process to polish piano black KEF speakers

Hello,

seeking advice on best products and process to restore light scratches on my R3 speakers after being repaired for corner damage.

While the company did a decent job a repairing damage to the speaker, they somehow managed to create another problem by scratching to top and sides of the speaker.

when I compare it to the good speaker it is a night and day difference. Are there good products to bring back the luster and correct the scratches?

I would appreciate any help with this issue.

Try Novus #1...Collings guitars turned me on to this stuff years ago. Use it on everything from guitars to motorcycle helmets.

ZYMOL makes a product specially formulated for dark colors its called CARBON.

$65 for a 8oz size! this is real wax, not like the crap they sell at Auto Zone.

Hey @rayray57 are you able to post pictures to see how much "repair" is needed? If they are super fine like wash mark scratches on a car, then a good paste wax could be fine to fill. IF they are pretty good scratches, you may be in for some polishing. If you have a good 3" drill with slower rpm option, you should be able to handle the task. For products, I do sell some 3M product, but really 3D compounds are far superior and also available in 8oz size. Look on their site for their 510 compound and 520 polish. Pair that with a foam cutting pad and foam polishing pad, and use some detail spray and a nice microfiber rag for cleanup. I run autobody supply stores and can certainly help walk you through the full process to get it done correctly. Just send me a message.

I have photos but forgot how to get them loaded as you can’t directly post them here which would be nice.

if someone can remind me of the steps.
