I choose reflection over celebration this year to quietly reexamine what it means to be American and to confront how far we’ve drifted from the principles this day is meant to honor. Still, in the stillness, I find comfort in music, a small refuge offered by my humble but yet refined system. Wishing everyone a thoughtful Fourth.
