Tube DAC with i2s input?

Hi all, I want to upgrade from my Pontus II which is a good DAC but I'm looking for better depth/dimension, separation and analog warmth. I recently added a Laiv uDDC to the Pontus and that improved things notably so I'd like to keep that option for a new tube DAC, however most I come across do not have i2s input. Any suggestions? Budget $4-6k thanks. - Rich

Agree with @sns , which is why I'd like to keep my options open and have an i2s interface on my DAC.

This guy builds nice DACs , here are some myths according to Ben of Mojo Audio

He does not subscribe to i2s  being the end all be all of digital transfer .

I don't believe you will need that reclocker if you purchase any of the SW1X DAC models.  Way back (6 years ago or so), I had a DDC connected via i2s to a Pontus.  The reclocker made a signficant improvement.  I upgraded to the Lampizator Atlantic TRP3 and it did not need or benefit from the DDC, so I sold it.  I don't think you would need it if you upgraded to a SW1X DAC--even their entry model.  It is built so that it needs no additional support or enhancements.  I have the SW1X VDT II streamer now, instead of the Innuos Zenith I used with previous DACs.  I have the SW1X streamer and DAC connected via S/PDIF interconnects--strongly recommended by SW1X. The music is seamless, with nuances, detail, and overall "analog" tone needing no additional gizmos.  I think the S/PDIF does a top quality job... and the SW1X units are optimized for it.
