Is bi amping worth it ?

I am sure this should be a new thread as unrelated to biamping but today received the extra set of ten gauge banana plug speaker cables I bought for the biamping process.  I already hooked up the 10 gauge and disconnected the 14 gauge cheaper stuff I had hooked up and I may be driving myself crazy but i swear it sounds noticeably better.  One speaker is about a 30’ run from the amps . 
 

also today received an old McIntosh mvp 871 cd / dvd player I bought for playing my old cd / music dvd collection and the sound on this is such an improvement over my brand new streamer even on lossless tidal tracks it’s incredible.  Now I feel my streamer ( which I never loved ) may really be leaving a lot on the table. 
Cambridge exn 100. The same song from cd to a tidal loss less track and the old McIntosh cd is so much cleaner it’s amazing . 
 

someone asked if I have heard other khorns and to be clear these speakers sound great to me and I am sure they sound as they should and probably more then enough bass for most people I just prefer more bass then I should , as long as it’s crystal clear and not boomy . 
 

I may give up on bi amping for now . Just so confusing . I think best I can do with equipment I have is send a Full stereo signal to each amp but so no music will be missing but won’t be completely separate channels and that’s not desirable   

Seems I would need two more channels of amplification and an external crossover to make the most of that .   Will let it rest for a while right now concerned about my steamer   Doesn’t seem to be up to par

You're mistaken. Those are for bi-wiring not bi-amping.

I was the one who asked if you'd ever heard better or more bass from another set of khorns. Maybe they just don't have it, I don't know. Cd's reach 20hz, LP's down to 16hz that I'm aware of. No idea about streaming but it would seem possible to be nearly uniimited or at least limited only by the original source. I don't stream anything so can't really speak to what it actually can or can't do. I do know that an awful lot of people seem to be in love with it, I'm just not one of them. 

Anyway, if you are very fond of bass, it is possible that having speakers that are limited to 33hz, will not completely satisfy you. I don't know but I'm sure I would feel as though I'm missing something, after listening to AR9's for the last 20 years plus. I, like you, hate the sound of flabby or exaggerated bass. I do not get that from my speakers at all. They are very solid performers down to 18hz. I guarantee that it is an appreciable difference from 35hz or so, felt and heard.......distinctly. 

If you are in love with your speakers, you may benefit from a subwoofer system. It can be very  tricky bringing that into an unrelated speaker system and finding real synergy. I do understand being very fond of the Klipsch sound. It has been very popular for a very long time. You just need to figure out if deeper bass is what you really want or if it's the sound of those big khorns.

You're mistaken. Those are for bi-wiring not bi-amping.

Many misunderstand what you are saying and it is a big distinction. I am currently setting up a combo theater and 2 channel set up. 40 channels of power amp- to 40 separate drivers all actively controlled crossovers using 2 MiniDSP Flex HTX and 3 Flex Eights. 4 Monolith 7x200 amps. 8 channels of ATI AT6000- to run the 2 channel. Two Dayton SA1000's running Buttkicker LFE's, 2 Monolith active 15" subs and two M&K MX350 12" subs. The two channel will be 18" woofers in their own box. JBL 2441 compression driver paired with Yamamoto F350ii horns. B&C De120 tweeters and all the subs and butt shakers active.
