Your favorite obscure song

What song in your music inventory do you consider a barely known hidden gem? Like a well kept secret know only to a few that you can listen to over and again.

For me it's 'Roads to Moscow' from Al Stewart's 'Past Present and Future' album.

The music, the lyrics, the story it tells is- to be just slightly hyperbolic- brilliant.

Check it out, especially if your a WW2 history buff.

Thank you for your attention on this matter.😁

Right on, “Lady in Black”, and just two more Heep essentials for me,

”Tears in My Eyes” and the classic, “Gypsy”.

@77jovian ,

Just listened to Lady in Black for the first time in years and it reminded of all the great music Uriah Heep made.

The lyrics, the musicianship: they're one of the best bands of that era and in rock history. I don't think they ever attained the heights they deserved.

I don’t think that “Don’t ask me questions” is obscure, given that he plays it at every show since it came out.  For me, GP’s most obscure, never played, rocker is “Clear Head” off Stick To Me.  Wow, that is a great one.  Check it out.  Early GP & Rumour angst.

But my immediate reaction to the question is “Sufficiently Breathless” by Captain Beyond.  Great tune.
