Or buy a 1/8 mini to RCA IC for $6 at the Shack and run to your pre...My setup sounds a bit "soft" and not super transparent, but it's dead quiet (battery only) and not that bad at all. I'd try that before chunking down big dollars.
good suggestion as i was thinking digital content from some downloads and not the pandora route. some radio stations just don,t have the best sound quality and i use them for background music myself.
