New Lampizator Level 4/ Version 4 DAC in the house

Wonder if any other new owners of this DAC are out there as I find it to be the finest digital playback I have heard to date. This is the first digital front end piece of gear I have owned that has transformed my music.

Ya, other digital gear does this or that better, but this Lampy breaks through to a new level of musical enjoyment. Clear view into the music helping the speakers just disappear. Only 24 hours of break in and the music flows so sweet, intimate and seemingly without boundaries.

Looking under the hood I see an impressive power supply with films caps and several high quality chokes. Point to point silver wired except for the digital and USB boards. This is a three tube player that is tube rectified. One has the option for SS rectification if desired.

I am just an extremly happy customer and one of the first commercial ones.

I only met L in person in Dec last. Many of you guys met him before I did. He is more often in the US than in Switzerland.

Its funny though, other people ask me if I work for Goldmund, and yet other will have to ask if I work for Illusonic, Swisscables or Rowen.

I champion what I like, nothing more.

Has anyone compared the Lampizator Level 4 to the new Wyred4sound DSD SE DAC?

Plays files in untouched form - full resolution. (up to 96/24)

It appears Transport is no longer based on SB Duet. SB Touch? proprietary design? Any ideas?

I compared the Lampi 4/4 to a Eximus DP1 dac which is said and reviewed to be a better dac than the Wyred. No contest at all. The Lampi is so much more musical and real sounding. Far less Hifi sounding than the DP1.

Sorry, I just saw you meant the very latest new dac from Wyred. Don't know. I can say with near assurance the Lampi will be more musical if not quite as resolving. That is my gut or guess and not based on actual experience however.
