Dear Halcro, Your 'nacked TT' contribution contains philosophical, literary and scientific aspects. So you are
a very complex person to me. My approach is pure emotional
or subjective. When I listen to Dietrich 'Winterreise' I
get tears in my eyes. So my 'test'Lp's are those that are
emotionaly dear to me. To put it in a strange way I expect
from my speakers to 'pass on' this feeling to me. Michelangeli and Berman are my favourite but there is no
speaker capable to reproduce the dynamics of a concert piano. Like Pryso I don't care much about the lowest octave
(40 Hz will do) but to my mind there is something wrong between 100 and 200 Hz. and not so much below 100Hz. I am not a technical guy but I hope that this make some sence.
I also hope that you can see the difference between us. From your contribution everyone can profit, assuming that your experiment is 'repitable' for others while I don't
believe that my 'contribution' will be more then possible recognition by some.
