THE LATEST---Gold plated fuses?

It doesn't matter what they're made of, the question is; How do they sound?

About 20 years ago I had high purity solid copper rod the diameter of a standard fuse cut to the size of a fuse. Had them gold plated and replaced the output fuses in my amp with these. My system was about as high end as you could make it at the time, and this replacement didn't make one whit of difference.

I recently installed Isoclean fuses in the Parasound JC-1s and Atma-Sphere MA-1s here, with excellent results. Putting Isoclean fuses in the Sound Lab speakers helped as well, though not as much as in the amps.
