PS Audio AC-5 question

I recently bought PS Audio AC-5 power cord for my Parasound HCA-1205A amp. My pre is Anthem AVM-20 with Shunyata Diamondback power cord. My speakers are Paradigm Studio 60 v.3. When I changed the power cord of the amp from stock cable, I found that the overall sound is more forward than I would like. Also the top end has opened up, but I feel it to be a bit harsh - to the face. Not sure what is the issue. Is the PS Audio AC-5 a worng choice to Parasound amp?.

Iam not sure if the fuses will benefit my system, as I see high end coloring (in the correct direction i was able to find the correct direction after many attempts). AC-10 has got more than 500 hrs, AC-5 around the same, quintet around 150 hrs. I will be getting my AC-12 this evening, exited!.

My AC12 will be in tommorow, Hmm!This is gonna be so much fun! no more wondering about what it sounds like! So Lake any regrets about switching power conditioners and cables?

Absolutely not!. This has given me the first taste of hifi sound. Before power cable changes, my gear never sounded highend, but now it is!. Thanks for the suggestions.

Glad to hear it,I to felt the same way after the power upgrades. after the many years of focus on gear, Ic's and speaker cables this really made the stuff I have shine.I'll post back later when the AC12 arrives for first impressions!

The AC12 has arrived and out the box Lake It's all true what they said, its all true, finnaly I can rest in audio nirvana for while. Just unbelievable and this is out of the box!
