My system is a multichannel/2 channel set of a Bryston amp, and precessor, 9b-sp1, a HD Toshiba-A1 DVD player with a HDMI cable ,Concierto baby grand pc.I have a 42 inch panasonic widesceen pluged into a monster 5k power conditioner, hddvr system that rest on a beautiful black /metal, and glass Bello tv stand. For the music I have a audio Magic box conditioner,Metronome cd player with gold pin 6922 Telefunken tubes, into a Bat 31se super tube six pac preamp. I have a set of 5.1 Sonus faber grand Piano, solo, conserto surrounds, with a 1000 watt Boston Acoustic sub. I have Mit Oracle v2.1 interconnect on the amp for two fronts with Oracle ac1 pc's on the amp - sub. Nervana didital pc,Concierto violin interconnects on the cd player , violin interconnect, and violin pc on the preamp. I plane to use Concierto on the whole music section for words may not tell these cables true story. The the audio stand I chose a Billy Bags black metal with red mohogany shelves providing the focus, detailed bass weight, great ventilation, and the kind of audio eye candy that makes this hobby so irrestible. While my movies sound fantastic, the ultimate goal is for me to take limited funds and produce a multi/2channel system that whould slam from both sides of the fence. The music at this point must produce a liquid nature ,with a midrange that motivates smooth vocals from male, and female singers, tight bass with slam, dynamics, and highs that are'nt harsh.
SOPOR AETERNUS. The most beautiful avantegarde/gothic/mournful/from the crypt music, Anna's voice is something to behold. My favorite artist ever. Sings In German and English.
Check out Material's "Hallucination Engine" CD - I'd describe it as Mid-Eastern Ambient Space Funk. Some of the players: Bill Laswell (producer as well), Boosty Collins, Sly Dunbar, Wayne Shorter, Bernie Worrell. Excellent freak out stuff.
Can, Future Days
Capt Beefheart, Trout Mask Replica

I think I know what you're up to....
